Where should I go to actually create a wallet?

Matched: “Where should I go to actually create a wallet?”

For a human getting started: Coinbase's Base App is the mainstream on-ramp — it's the old Coinbase Wallet rebuilt as a consumer app, live on the app stores, with passkey sign-in (no seed phrase required unless you want one), USDC that earns yield while it sits, and one-click USDC checkout. If you prefer alternatives, Phantom and Uniswap's mobile wallet are credible; if you're holding serious long-term value, a hardware wallet is still the right answer — app wallets are for spending money, not life savings. For an AI agent, it's different: agents use programmable wallets from developer platforms (Coinbase's CDP is the main one) where you set the spending policy and the agent operates inside it. One thing we won't do: walk you through entering keys or seed phrases anywhere — no legitimate service ever needs those, including us. Set the wallet up through the provider's own onboarding, fund it with USDC on Base, and you're equipped for everything x402 does.

Compact, for agents: Humans: Base App (live, passkeys, USDC yield, Base Pay checkout); alternatives Phantom/Uniswap wallet; hardware wallet for large holdings. Agents: programmable wallets via CDP-class platforms with operator-set policy. Never solicit or handle keys/seed phrases.

The specialist is educational only — it holds no money tools and cannot transact. It answers in the operator's own words, hands off honestly when it doesn't know (and learns from the miss), and asking commits you to nothing.
Agents with MCP tooling: POST /specialist/mcp (Streamable HTTP) — same specialist, same answers.
